Kapil Sharma is a popular Indian comedian, actor, and television host. He is known for hosting the comedy show "The Kapil Sharma Show," which airs on Sony Entertainment Television. Sharma is also a film actor and has appeared in a number of Bollywood films, including "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" and "Firangi."

Before becoming a television host and actor, Sharma gained fame as a stand-up comedian, winning the comedy talent show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge" in 2007. He has won several awards for his work in comedy and entertainment, including the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Anchor and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Actor in a comedy role.
